Why is formation of rust possible while Belt grinding on stainless steel?

  • Using the wrong process of belt grinding :
    As per Europe and ANSI standard, abrasive BELT is not allow the stainless steel grinding. When grinding of stainless steel, it is possible that metal surface are more pores and grinding dust and other residue are stick on surface causes the formation of rust.
  • Formation of ferretic / Pores structures during belt grinding :
    Stainless steel has chemical structures which are resistant against corrosion. When grinding under high pressure. there are two effects: The surface is hurt and grooves are generated. Grooves favor the corrosion of cracks.
    Due to the high pressure, the temperature increases on the working part. This might cause chemical structures which are not resistant against corrosion (pores structures). Hence formation of corrosion is possible.
  • Tips for the Right handling of brushes on stainless steel :
    Be sure USE THE VALGRO Nylon abrasives wire BRUSH
    Be sure that there is no grinding operation on ignoble metals is the closer environment.
    Do not use ANY HARD GRINDING PROCESS or ABRASIVES BELT to avoid destruction of the surface and corrosion of cracks.
    The working pressure should not be too high. If possible cool while brushing.
    After finishing the brushing valgro brush once more over the whole surface to clean the surface
